Vision & Mission

‘Learn to live…live to learn’

‘Education is not the filling of a pail but the lightning of a fire’
                                                              – William Butler Yeats

We are aware that we all need new skills in a fast changing world.

BPAC aims at providing high quality education, excellent student service in a dynamic way founded on the principles below.

Every person is a unique human being with a distinctive learning style and pattern. We are committed to honour the right of every individual to quality learning by catering to his/her unique/particular needs through various teaching and mentoring strategies adopted by highly qualified tutors. This principle shall be reflected in each programme that BrightPath Academy Coop Ltd runs. BPAC ensures that it reaches out to each and every person.

Ethos:

At BrightPath Academy Coop Ltd, we aim at arousing curiosity and stimulating our students’ interest and engage them in a highly active, participative and creative learning environment. We aim at drawing out the potential of each individual which contrasts the traditional approach of filling a Tabula Rasa. We strive to develop a sense of criticality through explorative, analytical and multi-sensory approaches to learning.

The future starts today… (Take the challenge!)

In such a way, BPAC is equipping its students with the necessary skills and tools to face the labour market with an enhanced degree of self-confidence and higher employability chances. By uniting knowledge with practical application in our programmes, our students will see their employability chances soar high. Being in a favourable position to employability in a highly competitive labour market is surely worth all the effort and sacrifices put in the programmes.

BrightPath Academy Coop Ltd and the wider community.

BPAC prides itself in rendering a service to the wider community by preparing its students for life rather than simply for a specific task or exam. It looks beyond the length of the programme and has at heart the formation of the character and gives credit to the holistic development of the person. Students are not numbers and BrightPath Academy Coop Ltd ensures that they are prepared to face the biggest quest: life itself. In fact, BrightPath Academy Coop Ltd promotes the idea of establishing a network of professionals through various initiatives in both formal and informal settings.

In such a way, BPAC is shouldering its social responsibility in …responsible citizens as we believe that the future of our country lies in our classrooms; in our cohorts.

 How is this achieved?

A word about our staff…

Our staff is made up of a team of highly dedicated professionals who have soiled their hands in their respective field of study and thus are in a position to mentor their students on both the theoretical and practical level of the programme. Their expertise is founded on everyday practice and this is mirrored in the delivery of the programme; i.e. relevant, practical and interactive. Our staff is equipped with all the necessary tools to ensure quality education and offer our students an enriching learning experience; a journey where they will find themselves surrounded with people who sustain them throughout.

We are also aware that our students learn at different paces, having different learning styles and patterns. Thus, our lecturing staff uses a wide variety of teaching modalities to ensure that each and every student is reached. We are also aware that our students may have other commitments, be it personal, family or employment. Thus, BPIC ensures a reasonable degree of flexibility in its programmes. In fact, modules are made up of a blend of face to face lecturing together with a study period.

 Assessment

BrightPath Academy Coop Ltd ensures high quality learning taking place in its classrooms. Thus, it is imperative that the assessment follows a rigorous structure where the Learning Objectives (LOs) of each module are satisfactorily reached. BPAC encourages the use of both formative and summative modes of assessment.

Fairness and transparency are two important pillars in this area and an internal verifying system (IVS) is in place to ensure that the assessment procedures such as marking and providing feedback to the student are exceptionally high in quality. This thorough scrutiny however leaves no room for compromising the quality of work expected from our students.

 Community of Learners

Students are encouraged to interact with both the tutors and peers alike. BPAC aims at providing each student with a golden opportunity to participate actively in his/her own learning whilst creating a community of learners. Potentially, this can also grow to a network of professionals who collaborate closely in their places of work.
