Course Description

This course is all about delving into what it means to nourish our creative spirit. This is why for the first few days we will be reading and analysing stories which reveal the dangers of a neglected creative spirit – how it can be easily polluted, grow stagnant, shape-shift – and so too how when we become aware we can renew, reclaim and transform our creative spirit. In the latter part of the week we will give more space to reflecting on the lessons learnt, carving out time for our creative endeavors as well as valuing them. We will also have time to reflect on how our creative spirit spills into all areas of our lives – it affects how we are with ourselves, others, in work and leisure, and how infectious it can be when we allow ourselves to be creative and imagine with others in educational spheres.
